Take a look at the bookstore on the ARMA web site. There are many books there about e-records policies. "Information Nation," "e-policy," "e-mail rules," etc. are all good.
As a graduate student you will need to quote these books in your research. Advice from the listserv is helpful, but much less authoritative (even if it is more correct than the published books!). The listserv must also be cited if you use it.
