For those of you who keep departmental/unit retention schedules do they
specify retention for record copies?  So if a particular department is *not*
the keeper of the official record, but has a duplicate of the record, do
your schedules specify the shorter retention on your schedule for that
department/unit's copy?  I guess it's an operational preference depending on
the behavior you desire.  I'm more familiar with simply assuring all
duplicates are kept no longer than the retention for the official record.
