An elderly neighbor gave me a copy of Progressive Indexing and Filing
5th Ed (c. 1950, published by the Management Controls Div of Remington
Rand) which is a textbook and I donated it to our chapter library, just
because it was such a hoot to look through. We've recently disbanded out
chapter library, giving away the books that anyone wanted to take, so
I'd have to check to see if it's gone. If not, you're welcome to it.

Is it possible that you seek Gilbert Kahn, Theodore Yerian and Jeffrey
R. Stewart, "Progressive Filing", McGraw-Hill (New York, 1955)?  I have
seen the 8th Edition (1969).
