How many on this listserv have become involved in promoting the use of
web
content management tools that preserve needed information with
"referential
integrity", and then link the database elements to retention
requirements?

Glenn ...Oh so great!!!

My two bits for the Internet website. If your company has a site that
does
not advertise products, services, etc. ...informational only, no
hoopdedos
that tie to databases, no pricing etc...then having a less than stellar
method of site management may be warranted.

However, if you work for a company that provides the public access to
products, services, pricing, technical information for products
etc...then
you should consider a dynamic method of retaining information. If not,
then
when litigation occurs, there is no evidence to protect the company and
its
assets.

These views are mine alone. They may or may not be those of any previous
or
present employers or clients. I don't know. If I'd asked and they'd
agreed,
I would have signed it "Bloggs and Co and Glenn". Or whatever. But I
haven't, so I didn't.
