My colleague and I work on the basis of Continuum theories, but we almost
NEVER present that to the client. Life cycle is a LOT easier to understand,
as others have said, but continuum is definitely the most sensible approach
when considering electronic.

Going in as consultants, we provide RM 101 type info, and user guidelines
and policies, which explain generically what has to happen. (And most of hte
time, we recommend they hire a permanent RM!)

You could consider us translators: we translate functions and activities
into intellectual maps, and we translate academic theory into practical
workable solutions.
Regards,
Amanda
