Our IT department is getting ready to deploy SharePoint to replace our
current company intranet -- actually it's already in place, just hasn't
been announced company-wide. I know very little about SharePoint or how
it's used other than MS touts it as a collaborative tool. Since the IT
department is receptive to RIM issues, is there anything they should be
aware of from a RIM point-of-view that would ease transition to an
future EDMS/ERMS? We do not have any sort of EDMS/ERMS yet, but when we
do the IT department said they are ready to support it once the business
decision has been made.
