Linda,

Imaging should be designed to capture the record as part of the business
process. Regardless of the version of the record. Document your process and
you'll be fine.

Subject: [RM] scanning question

Folks,

I have a question regarding scanning original vs. copies of originals: my
boss thinks it doesn't make a difference except for scan quality, I'm
concerned about the legal aspect if we lose all paper copies in a fire and
need to produce the scanned images. Does it make a difference?
