Well going to the source I found the following -

BYLAWS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF RECORDS MANAGERS AND ADMINISTRATORS,
INCORPORATED

The Association of Records Managers and Administrators, Incorporated is a
Kansas Corporation, hereinafter sometimes referred to as ARMA International,
the Corporation or the Association.

The mission of ARMA International is to provide education, research and
networking opportunities to information professionals, to enable them to use
their skills and experience to leverage the value of records, information
and knowledge as corporate assets and as contributors to organizational
success.

We seem to have a real name and an alias we all should know. Looks like a
good place to start.

Have a good weekend!

I think many of us who have been associate with RM for years run into the
same issue; a confusion of what ARMA stands for, even within our own
organization. Part of the problem is we've attempted to reinvent ourselves
so many times, the message we are attempting to communicate is nebulous.

>I believe HQ and the Board do need to clarify our branding.
I agree. Doesn't ARMA have a person on staff that is responsible for
branding our organization?
