Since for the past 6 yrs I have been rather inactive in the records
management field I have a lot of catching up to do in the document imaging/scanning
arena.

My question is:
Can documents that are scanned into a pdf format, later be OCR'd and
converted to tiff? Or do they have to be ocr'd at the time of the initial scan?

Thanks
