I recently read a comment indicating that  while the plaintiff or the court
used to request specific records, the burden of knowing what records were
relevant to a case has been shifted to the defendant.  That is: if you are
being sued, you may be required to determine what records might be relevant
to the case and to produce any or all of them.
I failed to make a note of the related citations.   Can anyone help me to
identify the citation or comments.  I think that I read them here on the
listserv, not more than a few weeks ago.
