Hi Laura et al,

Upon further reflection I misunderstood the question. There are systems that
do handprint and handwriting recognition; 97% accuracy for good-quality
constrained handprint is certainly achievable. TAWPI (The Association for
Work Process Improvement) has a number of vendor members that provide these
capabilities - check http:/www.tawpi.org for additional information.

Cheers,

Subject: Intelligent Character recognition

Does anyone know of document imaging systems or RMA's which offer ICR or
advanced optical character recognition? This technology can a 97% accuracy
rate to recognize handwriting in structured formats. It can also recognize
bar codes. I am interested if anyone has worked with this technology.
