True, that's always a good thing to keep in mind.  However I was
focusing on "appending" or "interfiling" from a whole document
standpoint into a higher level container (folder, e or physical), not
adding additional information to a document (or database).  If Jesse's
original question was regarding adding data to a document/db rather than
a complete document to a container, then "append" makes more sense.
However, all of that being considered, I think I prefer John G's "Put
Away" best!

And while Steve Whitaker may hate paper, I hate .tif!

Be a bit careful on that "interfiling".... For any e records that are
stored in a multi-page .tif format, you'll not be able to electronically
shuffle the pages to insert pages among others...... at least not
without some tools that allow you to break the multi-page tiff file down
into single page tiffs, and then to recompile the reorganized file.
