There are Bankers Boxes specifically designed for holding pendaflex
folders. I'm sure there are more out there that are more reasonable in
price.

Subject: Hanging file folders...

Hi all,

I am looking for sensible alternatives that colleagues could recommend
for rehousing files that actively have lived in hanging file folders
(pendaflex) and that now will be stored in boxes to send to a records
center. It seems resource intensive to ask staff to remove files from
the pendaflex and then relabel them to place in boxes, as is
recommended.

Of course, the ideal would be to have options that would serve the
purpose of housing records both during their active and inactive
periods, as it would be best to prevent the damage and loss of records.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Best,

C M Figueroa
