<However, one must define what is an "output."  Not all outputs are
printed or saved as separate documents/files.  In our case, with the SAP
system, one type of output is the various screens that are based on the
"objects" to which we apply retention.  So we determine retention and
records series for the objects that are used to produce the screens.>

Thanks Ginny, for the clarification.  You're right, I didn't give enough
consideration to the definition of "output".  I'm not envious of the
position you're in trying to manage all of that!  Good luck!
