TOPIC: "How Federal Information and Records Officers can plan NOW to
support successful implementation of future E-Gov initiatives. "

ABSTRACT:

Public records are the foundation of effective citizen
centered government. Easy access and use of these diverse assets is
crucial for productive interaction between federal agencies and the
American taxpayer. Recent electronic records initiatives for
successfully implementing Federal Information Policy are underway at a

unique perspective on the imperative to develop stronger partnerships
between records managers, librarians, web managers and other information
professionals to address issues of shared responsibility.
