Perhaps a good text would be the "At Your Fingertips," by Denise Dale
and Alexandra Bradley, mentioned previously on the list. Nice chatting

I too have thought of this for sometime.  The idea has allot of merit.
I think what would be very helpful would be classes on "Managing your
records at home" or "Home Based Records Management - Records Management
101".  Or something like that.  Not just for seniors, but for anyone.
The everyday person would certainly benefit on knowing how to manage
their personal records, bills, books, manuals, music or whatever.  A one
day course could teach them just the fundamentals and the legal reasons
for ensuring your personal records are retained.  I may just do this!
