< I have to agree with the comments form some folks about the materials
received over the years though.  Many presenters either don't provide a
presentation for inclusion, or provide it too late for it to be included
in
the CD or thumb drive, or delivery method de jour... so you never see
these
materials.>

Those of you who speak at the Conference know the drill about handouts -
the deadline for handouts and proceedings (2 different things) to be
included on the thumb drive and on the web site was mid-August, the
deadline for PowerPoints of the presentations was 10/2 (to be loaded on
the laptops in the meeting rooms.  Any handouts/slides received after
8/15 were NOT included on the website or on the thumbdrive/CD.  ARMA
publishes only what the speakers send them, and many speakers do not
send anything for handouts other than copies of the slides - if that.
Proceedings, on the other hand, are NOT copies of the slides but actual
papers based on the session topic.  In the past, ARMA required a
proceedings paper from each speaker.  This year it was optional.
