This was just recently covered on the listserv and I wish I had kept the  
listed resources to answer you. All I can provide is my past company's policy of  
tracking the files in a database until the legal dept. alerted the records 
dept.  quarterly (under an established procedure between the records center and 
the  legal dept.) as to which sites/ projects were no longer in litigation.
