Charles,

If you're speaking of the new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, they did
go into effect on 12/1/2006. Congress played no role in "adopting" the
rules. The rules are a product an responsibility of the U.S. Federal
judiciary.....

effect?

I noted that it is already Dec. 11 and my last note on this issue states
that Congress was expected to adopt Dec 1.

Did this happen? More importantly, are the new rules now "in effect"?

Thanks!

Chuck Piotrowski
