Hello
I've been asked to research when web pages should be imaged, how often
and how long the files would need to be kept. I found one source
(State of Pennsylvania) that does not require imaging of sites unless it
is a "high risk" site. There have also been articles on Web site
retention in edoc magazine and IMJ, but they all basically come back to
the same point. I guess what I am looking for is if anyone has done
risk assessments on government websites, and also if anyone considers
portions of their website as not subject to the records retention
schedule, by considering it "published" information, and therefore only
scheduling the process and content management back end records, plus any
transactional data.
Any comments would be gratefully appreciated.
Sincerely,
Julie Luckevich
