I am sure you did your due diligence. However, they may be an
unbudgeted
"time bomb" waiting down the road if there is ever a need for a lot of
reference
to these documents.
Having said all that, I still hate paper and do not particularly like
microfilm either. I will go a step further and state that I am not
enthralled with optical technology, and would certainly never use it for
any important or long-term documents or data. I do not use it at all
for City records. I use it for personal music and video applications.
I do like hot cars, trucks, boats, weapons, oldies, blues, swing dance
music, bluegrass, western music, and festivals.

I hate any media or technology choice that does not meet stakeholder
needs in a cost effective manner throughout the record's life cycle.
