In light of the new FRCP rules for ESI (electronically stored information),
global enterprise business operations, and plethora of privacy regulations,
more companies are realizing the importance of putting their Records
Management house in order when it comes to their electronic systems, email,
and the like.  Many may even be thinking they need to find an expert to
be dedicated to the new role of e-Discovery and RIM to address the
challenges that lie ahead.

With this in mind I am wondering how many of you or those that you know
actually have all of the qualifications that would make the "perfect"
candidate for this role?  Requirements would be something along these lines
- Seasoned attorney with litigation experience, Highly knowledgeable in
Information technology, Technically current with skills and knowledge of RIM
and e-Discovery applications/requirements, fully knowledgeable in records
retention laws and global privacy regulations.  I am sure there are other
"expert" qualifications that I have missed, so feel free to chime in.

I bring this up because I do not know many who would have a combination of
all of these skill sets and wonder how wrong or ill-informed I may truly be.
