I tend to think that alot of the IT gripes (system performance,etc) come 
from the fact that ,as John noted , they (IT) create the 
specs/requirements for siloed systems without thought of RIM or overall 
enterprise strategy.  If they would first embrace the idea of managing the 
content of the applications/systems THEN create the requirements, alot of 
the major system administration problems wold disappear or at  least be 
reduced to manageable levels.  The thought that RIM is training/compliance 
after the fact is both short sighted and dangerous.  Something I continue 
empress and have the large bruise on my forehead to prove it.
