Position Announcement:

My client still has an opening but has changed the position a little.  They are now looking for someone with more years of experience, preferably with a large company or law firm, do not require the CRM and have increased the salary range.    
 
My corporate client is looking for a Corporate Records Manager in Philadelphia, PA.  Responsibilities include overall administration of the company's records management program. This program promotes compliance with record retention regulations, facilitates litigation discovery, protects Company information, and increases organizational effectiveness through better record-keeping and retrieval practices.
 

Specific duties include:  

                ÿ        Maintain the Records Management Retention Schedule, Policy, and Procedures

ÿ        Notify Company's Legal department and the Records Management Steering Committee of any amendments that should be made to the Policy, Procedures Manual, and/or Records Retention Schedule to take account of changes in legal, regulatory or operational requirements.

ÿ        Recommend program improvements by auditing Program quality and user practices.

ÿ        Monitor compliance with the policy and procedures and advise Local Record Coordinators.

ÿ        Administer and coordinate the destruction review process.

ÿ        Support and provide consultation to Department Managers for the purge of onsite records.

ÿ        Confirm that records are appropriately reviewed for destruction and ultimately destroyed in a timely fashion.

ÿ        Sponsor and/or support future records management projects.

ÿ        Recommend tools and systems needed to implement the Records Management Program.

ÿ        Provide consultation for new and modified records management resources including the acquisition of new storage equipment, software applications, and records management systems.

ÿ        Assist with program roll-out and initial and ongoing training.

 

Experience Requirements:

      ·            BA or BS degree, preferably in records management or business administration

·            8+ years work experience in multi-facility compliance program in a large company

·            Knowledge of records management software products, imaging systems and automated databases

·            Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

·            Excellent communication, analytical, customer service and organizational skills

·            Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel

·            Strong presentation and training skill
