I've always found the adhesive on Avery labels to be lacking.  While I
was back in Oregon, I used 4" x 2" labels from Metal Edge Inc.
Uncertain if they offer a 4" x 6" version.  A little more expensive than
Avery, but not when you factor in replacement costs when they fall off.
Good adhesive.  Metal Edge is in Commerce, CA, but their products might
be worth their weight in shipping charges.
