I recently came back from Afghanistan. One of the many jobs I did over
there was serve as the S6 (Information Management Officer) for a
Provincial Reconstruction Team.
What type of records are you asking about?

Subject: War time records
Good evening all,
Is there anyone outhere that is affliated with the US Reserves, National
Guard, or even on Active Duty in a US military service? I am looking
for information or guidance that was provided to our Armed Forces
regarding collecting and storing records on the battle field
(Afghanistan and/or Iraq) by forward deployed troops. Any help would be
appreciated. Thank you very much.
