This is really more Friday type of info...; however it is almost
Friday...; which is the official gateway to the weekend.

Cherise, after you find a good RIM conference in the area, blow it off
and head down to Wilmington, or Myrtle Beach for some sun, sand, brew,
and shag. Fat Harolds used to be a good place to dance and socialize.
Studebakers was pretty good too. (Boppers in Charlotte) I have not
been there since 1999. I must be having some spring fever. I do like
to go to Malibu Beach out here in the west.

The RTP area in central NC is a decent place...; if you are not able to
live on Lake Norman or in the Charlotte, NC area. Interesting tidbit is
that in central NC you can pull up beside two vehicles; one has a good
ole boy with 2 teeth driving a 34-year old pickup with fenders falling
off, with a "3" bumper sticker. On the other side of you is a major
babe driving a 125K sports car with a "3" bumper sticker who looks like
she should be in the movies...; and maybe was. I notice that North
Carolina, Duke, NC State, and Wake Forest are not in the Final 4.
(Hmmm, wonder if my wonderful friends and colleagues in the RTP chapter
will invite me back to speak any more?)

Wonderful weather here in N. Nevada right now; had a couple inches of
snow down here in the valley Monday night; back in the 70s now and will
be beautiful this weekend. I might uncover my boat and clean it up. I
will no doubt get the convertible out and drive it some; put on some
Ocean Drive beach music. The beach music I am talking about is NOT Jan
& Dean or the Beach Boys (She's real fine my 409).

I have two very valued employees leaving. One is retiring. The other
graduated from college last December and is going to teach. I do not
want to lose either one. Perhaps I am feeling nostalgic.

Hope the plains states recover from their spate of tornados.

'Nuff for now...; back to the salt mine.

Best regards, Steve

Cherise:

And you might want to check your calendar/clock. Last I checked here
in the
Eastern Time Zone it was Thursday around lunch time.

Steve (and others):

RTP probably being the Research Triangle Park area in North Carolina.

It is located between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.

You may want to define "RTP area" for those who are not familiar with
central North Carolina.

Happy Friday Eve:

Is anyone on the list aware of any summer training in the RTP area?

Thanks
