John, Thank you so much. Very helpful to know of the Access-L Listserv.

Your reply is greatly appreciated.

Tracey

Tracey

Microsoft Access does not have 'auditing' capabilities out of the box.
You can programmatically move stuff to an audit table. There is a small
sample database at
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/download3.asp?SampleName=AuditTrail2.
mdb, which was developed by a Microsoft Access MVP which may point you
in the right direction.

It is possible for Access to talk to Outlook to do a variety of things,
but I have never delved into this side of things.

The absolute best place to ask questions about Microsoft Access is the
Access-L listserve at
http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa.exe?A0=access-l. There is nothing
that the very helpful and friendly people there do not know. The list
archives is a very good source of information too. The
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/ site also has a lot of useful
information.

Dear Listserv,

I have a couple questions regarding Access Databases:

1.	Does Access have any auditing capabilities?

2.	Is there any way the database can be linked to Outlook with
reminders or signoff capabilities?
