Thanks Fred; I thought it might be more of a communications thing.
I did something similar before at a previous organization. The system
we set up was able to slice and dice and sort the retention policies by
several different criteria; record copy owners; functional;
departmental; a couple others.
You are at the desk fairly late; eastern std. time zone. This is

Steve, perhaps I was not entirely clear as to the purpose of the
categories
I described in my message.
The categories are NOT retention schedules. They are a way of easily
identifying a particular retention schedule. You could say they are a
path
to the schedule.
