Karen - I've passed your request on to one of my colleagues down here. I
have no first-hand info on use just now. 
 
 This is a - as I understand it - a fairly new way to back-up data and
is advertised as more lasting than tape. I did a quick search on the
Internet using - electronic vaulting - and came up with some vendors who
did explain it. That might be useful without the hype!

Hello,

I am researching the above-mentioned topic/emerging techonology in
order to present about ten minutes worth of information to local
government records officers. The audience will have a zero to low
understanding of the concept and most of my findings so far have
catered
to a rather sophisticated customer base.

Any direction or information would be appreciated and feel free to
