Hello, my name is Molly Kitchen and I am a Records Manager at Travelers.
For the past 2 years my main focus has been electronic records. We
purchased Filenet Records Manager, Records Crawler, and Email Manager about
1.5 years ago and I have been busy implementing and testing the product.
We currently are using email manager to declare records from an isolated
email inbox. We have been doing this for about a year and things are going
well, knock on wood.

Next month our document management team is going to use records crawler to
gather a large number of records from an old repository and pull those
records into P8. We are not going to declare these documents as records
when pulling into P8 because we want to do some further testing of the
information before declaring as a record. So my question to all of you
wise Records Manager concerns bulk updates. Does anybody know if Filenet
allows you to perform a bulk records declaration operation or would this
require custom programming?
