Dear Brian Doyle, Did you deem off topic what I wrote about archives?
Where you that person?
Open government and access to public archives are relevant.
Who did the deeming actually?... Were they judicious?... Did they
take into account the off topic inflammatory remarks made by some
others about what I wrote about archives and contributing what
apparently is for the inflammatory remarkers a different point of
view... Did the deemers act similarly toward the participants
making the off topic inflammatory remarks?... Or just toward
the target of the inflammatory remarks?... Did they ask me
to respond to the matters considered?
I've been blocked and the word we normally use to describe that
kind of behavior is censorship. But I'm going to write a response
on my own site. And those people who are not in favor of
censorship can go there. And those in favor will discover they
are safe from my words if they stay in that forum. While they may
be safe from my words, my words do not cause the troubling
behavior of those who write the inflammatory remarks. Acting
against the target of the inflammatory remarks demonstrated a
