I've tried to stay out of this discussion, since it appears to me to
have no possible endpoint; we could talk about this forever. I do want
to say the following, though:

- A glossary should clarify and standardize terminology in general usage
within a community. A RIM glossary is not a dictionary that's trying to
explain an unfamiliar discipline to nonpractioners.
- If a RIM glossary includes definitions for "electronic records",
wouldn't it then need to also contain definitions for "paper records",
"microform records", etc.? Is that really what we'd want?

Thanks for listening!
