I was at a seminar -- Dr. Langemo, I think -- when the speaker talked
about three "legs" of developing a program. It was along the lines of
... there are three pillars, Fast, Cheap and Accurate. When developing a
records program you can only choose two - it can be fast and cheap, but
it won't be accurate; it can be accurate and fast, but it won't be
cheap. But this is where it falls apart, because the last part doesn't
make as much sense -- Cheap and Accurate, won't be fast? Has anyone hear
this before and remember the correct "legs"
 
We did the cheap and fast and a mucky-muck couldn't find what he was
looking for. Now I have a meeting this afternoon and I have a feeling
this quote may come in handy!
