I'm interested in collecting examples of mission/vision statements for
the RIM department/function in private, commercial business enterprises.
Those mission statements available via web resources are almost
exclusively for public, governmental organizations or
colleges/universities.  If you work in the private sector and have
developed a mission statement for your department that you are willing
to share, please post it to the list or send to me privately at the
