In 1990, a company called Pierce-Healy Archives decided to increase my
account from 1.0 to 1.2 c.f. Obviously, their off-site storage revenue
increased by 20% and most other vendors went with the new improved 1.2
format by the end of the roaring 1990's.

Thanks to all for the quick replies. Having been trained in RM in the
ancient past when standard records boxes were always referred to as
cubic foot boxes, I wondered how the number was calculated.
