The following position has just been posted. Please do not respond to me

*Position Summary:*
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a creative, 
out-going, enthusiastic professional for the position of Electronic 
Records Archivist. Under the direction of the University Archivist, the 
Electronic Records Archivist oversees the university's records 
management services, creates unique records series, and implements the 
university's records retention and disposition schedules according to 
federal and state regulatory requirements and campus needs. Particular 
focus is on the management, appraisal, description, and preservation of 
electronic records with historical, evidential, or administrative value 
to the university. The Electronic Records Archivist works closely with 
staff in the Carolina Digital Repository, Enterprise Resource Planning, 
University Counsel, Information Technology Services, Internal Audit, UNC 
System General Administration, and other units to insure compliance with 
state and federal laws and to identify the appropriate management of the 
university's records in all formats.
*Education Requirements:*
ALA-accredited MLS or advanced degree in archives administration, public 
history or other relevant related field.
*Qualifications and Experience:
*******Required******ALA-accredited MLS or advanced degree in archives 
administration, public history or other relevant related field. Evidence 
of commitment to the archival and/or records management professions as 
evidenced by at least three years progressively responsible records 
management or electronic records experience and memberships in 
professional associations. Comprehensive knowledge of electronic records 
management principles and practices, including database management, 
systems analysis, and current digital preservation theory and practice. 
Basic knowledge of web authoring tools/HTML, metadata standards, 
reformatting guidelines, grant writing, and public records laws. 
Superior interpersonal, communication, and writing skills. 
******Preferred******Certified Records Manager (CRM). Administrative and 
supervisory experience; superior problem solving ability. Prior academic 
library or higher education work experience.
