The following 1 year term position is available in Records Management 
Services of the Harvard University Archives:
Records Management Analyst


Working under the direction of the Records Manager, the Records 
Analyst assists in the development and implementation of a 
comprehensive program that protects the University and contributes to 
its educational and research missions.  This position is responsible 
for providing records management services ranging from maintaining 
and enhancing the University's records schedules, to consulting with 
University staff on their record keeping needs, to consulting with 
offices on implementing electronic record keeping systems.

Working independently and with a minimum of supervision, the Records 
Analyst assists client offices in understanding and articulating 
their information management needs and assists in the development of 
records management solutions.   Working closely with senior records 
management staff, the Records Analyst assists in the development of 
University-wide policies and best practices and recommendations for 
managing University records.  The Records Analyst works closely with 
members of the HUA Collection Development unit to assess the 
long-term value of the offices' records to the University and the 
Archives, and may provide oversight and guidance to support staff, 
and/or temporary employees in the conduct of their duties.  May also 
assist Operations team with duties associated with Records Center 
activities. This is a one year, fully benefits eligible, term appointment.
