Records Clerk - Costa Mesa, CA

The Costa Mesa office of a large, well-established firm has a direct hire opportunity for a Records Clerk with 2+ years of experience. Ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, innate problem solving skills and is an independent worker. Duties include, but are not limited to: updating and maintaining client files including filing, organizing files, creating folders, data entry for changes in status, indexing material for client files, and purging files; searching for and providing information contained in files, tracing missing files or removing files upon request; keeping records of material removed using scanning system; classifying material when classification is not readily discernible; processing files to be closed; preparing files for offsite storage, including sorting, indexing and moving boxes; and various duties as assigned.
