Digitalizing Duval courthouse making up for loss of manpower, clerk of

Duval County Clerk of the Court Jim Fuller didn’t place his usual order for
case files in January.

His clerks no longer create the paperwork to fill them. Jan. 1 marked the
first day of a now-paperless Duval courthouse.

The move to an all-digital record-keeping system not only saved
Jacksonville taxpayers $200,000 in case files, Fuller said, but it also has
made up for some of his recent losses in manpower.
