Greetings to The List: this is Bill Millican

I have recently taken a new position with BKD LLP, CPAs & Advisors and am thrilled to be with this organization.

Some of you have known me for many, many years. I have been in the industry of watching over and taking good care of organizational information for this now my 5th decade and am delighted to once again be in the "practitioner's" role; fortunate and grateful, I am.

Your input is very much appreciated. A great deal has been said and written about content management. Definitions and thoughts are easy to gather, but I would appreciate your thoughts and comments with this regard.

Using your best judgment, how would you define or describe a content management "program"?
What sets it apart from a records management, or information governance program?
Is there a difference; and if there is, what are the key elements that sets it apart?

Thank you!

By the way, and with regard to the Listserv, I have never been away --- always here, reading, listening and learning.

Bill
