That may be true for simple storage, but the cost of E-Discovery will be phenomenal. The cost of preparing the data map and the cost of the legal overview will just be enormous.

Plus, old records can be incriminating in a way that has nothing to do with the litigation.

Records management would be worth its weight in gold when serious litigation arises.
