Hi,

(My apologies for cross posting) A question for the communityŠ

Are any RM professionals directly partnering with their Architects
(Enterprise, Solutions, Business, Technical, etc.) to leverage Enterprise
Models as a means for identifying, inventorying, creating, and maintaining
key RM Data & Information? For example, for things like:

* Inventories of Data and Information (i.e. Records) Types,
* Inventories of key records related Systems/Applications,
* Inventories of key Data & Information Repositories (Databases, File
Shares, Document Management Systems, File Transfer Repositories, etc.),
* Inventories of key Interfaces (between Systems/Applications) to track Data
& Information flows across the enterprise,
* Mappings (i.e. Relationships) between any of the above that are relevant,
* Mappings of which Systems and/or Repositories maintain structured vs.
unstructured Data & Information,
* Mappings to key people and organizations related to/from all of the above
constructs (with understanding of the relationships),
* etc. (the list of inventories and mappings can be very large and complex)?

If so, could you kindly share some info on things like how the Enterprise
Models being constructed and maintained, which technologies are being used
to facilitate them, what kind of processes and governance are being put
around them, etc.?

My Best,

Frank
