Over the years I have mentored various candidates for the CRM through the local ARMA Chapter. It has been rewarding and the candidates have been successful. While in Singapore, I was a paid mentor for various DBA candidates via Henley University in England and Singapore Institute of Management. The goal was to encourage students to finish their dissertations . This was more unstructured because there was no deadline.
While at Berkeley, I mentored undergraduate students at the Learning Center, mainly on study habits.
I find the structured situations more satisfying and productive.
