Records Advice for South Dakota

Kristopher Stenson, an electronic-records archivist for the Illinois State
Archives, said a good records-management policy identifies which emails
should be kept and which ones should be discarded and helps make the
process efficient.

He said political papers have always been actively curated before being
handed over to libraries or archivists, and emails should be treated
similarly.
