Has List content changed, or have those of us who remember the List of Yore changed?

Just as it has been said that the Golden Age of Science Fiction was whenever you were 12 years old, it is likely that List Content was the most profound whenever you first discovered the List.

Perhaps the best people to answer the question about the value of List content are the new practitioners. If they tell us that List content is not good, it means that we old timers are not living up to our responsibilities.
