Records awareness, awareness of records | NixoNARA
As I read an announcement of an opportunity by ARMA members to visit the
Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in March, I thought, “what could
records professionals learn from how the president’s records were handled?”
Early in my career as an archivist and historian, I was the team leader in
charge of disclosure review of Richard Nixon’s secret White House tapes as
an employee of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
