Blake,

Several years ago our bank customer had a similar situation so we picked up
many trash bags and used our plant based shredder to destroy them without
any problem. Don't want to put a commercial solicitation on the Listserv,
just wanted you to know there is another option if you don't already have a
better solution.

Subject: Damp Document Destruction

Good morning Listserv colleagues; over the weekend one of our operations in
Texas was flooded (burst water pipe). Approximately 35 boxes of PHI
documents were damaged. The RIM Department was made aware on Tuesday.
Employees at the flooded facility dumped the majority of the records in
document shred bins (65g). A decision has been made and approved by the
appropriate parties to destroy the records - we will not be freeze-drying
them based on several factors.

However, we have been advised that the documents have to be incinerated. I
was informed that it will cost in excess of $100k to incinerate what equates
to six 65g shred bins. I would appreciate any feedback regarding
experiences you have had with matters like this.

Thanks
