Hello,

I have been asked to provide material that will give a ‘baseline understanding of RIM
terminology, goals, and processes’ to my new VP and the newly-formed RIM team, who’s
membership is made up of one representative from IT and one from Risk Management. I
don’t want to overwhelm the group, but would like to provide 3-4 resources that will give
them a RIM foundation we can build on.

So far my list includes:

1)	The Principles and Information Governance Maturity Model (ARMA)
2)	A Practical Guide to Information Governance (Iron Mountain)
3)	What is RIM? (online course through ARMA)

What other brief resources (less than 20 pages) have you found valuable throughout your
career? Your input is greatly appreciated.
