Background:
Modern records management is dependent on information governance as a
means of establishing regulatory compliance, risk aversion and best
practice. But -- what is encompassed within a successful IG program and
how is it achievable at scale?
In this discussion, Rich will detail how different technologies help to provide
essential support in building and maintaining a robust information
governance program. While no 'silver bullet' tool exists to automate
records management or information governance from end-to-end, software
automation enables subject matter experts to apply their expertise and
business policies onto large sums of data, at scale. Without these
technologies, such as file analysis, information governance programs
cannot be applied to enterprise approaches to records management.
